About Me

Hi, I'm JoJo Maestas — a first-generation Mexican/Native American public relations specialist dedicated to empowering underrepresented communities through storytelling, advocacy, and leadership.

Raised in Southern California, I bring a deep commitment to equity, leadership experience, and creative strategy to every project I lead.

During my time at Washington State University, I partnered with nonprofits like Friends of Disabled Veterans and The Kenworthy Theater to design and execute campaigns that built community connections and drove real impact.

As a student leader who held multiple positions at WSU, I advocated for diverse student voices and helped develop initiatives that strengthened campus engagement.

Now, I'm preparing for graduate studies to further expand my ability to connect emerging leaders and youth with the resources they need to thrive.

📍 Based in Pullman, WA — passionate about turning communication into community change.
